# StatusEffectGroup

The groups in the dropdown are determined in the [Status Effect Settings](/status-effects-framework/settings.md), the button to the right of the property can take you to them. [StatusEffectDatas](/status-effects-framework/type-specifics/scriptable-objects/statuseffectdata.md) can have multiple selected groups and use [bitwise operations](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/csharp/language-reference/operators/bitwise-and-shift-operators) for comparisons.
